I decided I would finish all my knitting projects before starting something new. It’s actually working out quite nicely, the only problem is I’m finding ufos all over the house…The last thing I finished was a ’Skappel’ sweater. It’s really easy to knit and I would say it’s a fast knit, but It was not for me. I get easily bored 🙂 I wear it alot. It’s really warm and light. It’s knitted in Drops Alpaca and Brushed Alpaca Air.
I have finished this ! We have really cold weather and some days we even have snow 🙁 I want sun and warm weather now, the winter has been too long! But a good warm shawl is really good to have around the shoulders these days…
Anyway, I’ve knitted this in Drops Fabel and the pattern is also from Drops. I knitted the whole shawl in garter stitch ( the lace should have been in knit stitch) and I didn’t do the short rows at the beginning .
I am very pleased with this, love the colors and the shape.
Pattern: Shifting tide
Yarn: Drops Fabel.
That’s what I should call these socks. I wanted to try the JoJo-heel, and I started it, but I knit the same turning twice instead of reversing the turning of the heel. I must say the socks are a perfect fit, it was easy to knit and it looks very much like heel on a store bought sock. I’ll certainly do this mistake again 🙂
Yarn: Schachenmayr Regia Design Line by Arne & Carlos
Yesterday the twins celebrated their 8 birthday! We had cake and family came over. Happy day 🙂
The evening was spent on the sofa watching ’The Last Kingdom’ while knitting socks.
Is easier than finishing an UFO. So instead of starting on sock no. 2 I started knitting on a shawl 🙂
The yarn is Fabel from Drops and the pattern is called ’Shifting Tide’ , also from Garnstudio. Very spring like colors that make me happy whan knitting with them.
